New Year Tech Begins 2004 with New Space

RESTON, VA-The four-building compound known as Reston Office Campus has opened its doors to a new tenant. New Year Tech Inc.–a company that specializes in the development of standard operating procedures controlled by automatic identification and computers systems–has decided to relocate its Vienna, VA-based headquarters to a 9,700-sf space within the 83,000-sf complex. Trammell Crow, which markets Reston Office Campus space at about $16.50 per sf, represented property owner KBS Realty Advisors in the transaction, while the Ezra Co. stood in for New Year Tech.

Located off Pinecrest Rd., the buildings of Reston Office Campus are all of a single-story design and sport about 21,000 sf each. Other campus tenants include the Annunciation Academy, which occupies an entire building, and Renal Care Associates, which maintains a 6,000-sf space. Further terms of New Year Tech’s lease have not been disclosed, however, a comment by KB Realty Advisors senior vice president Peter Potrykus hints that the tenant is likely to expand its space at the class B facility in the not-so-distant future.
