In the midst of a top-down corporate restructuring, Rayovac plans to lease executive office space for 25 company officers at the 33-story, 697,400-sf Concourse Corporate Center 6 which is owned by New York-based Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association.

The company didn't disclose how much space it is negotiating with the building's manager, Atlanta-based Cousins Properties Inc. However, area brokers familiar with the north Fulton County office submarket tell GlobeSt.com Rayovac probably is considering at least 50,000 sf, or about 2,000 sf for each of the 25 initial offices, at the 12-year-old building. Cousins puts the building's occupancy at 70%.

In a prepared statement, Rayovac chairman and president Dave Jones says the packaging and distribution activities at Remington's third-party-operated facility in Atlanta will be combined with the company's facilities in Dixon, IL and LaVergne, TN. Rayovac acquired Remington Products in 2003.
