GlobeSt.com UPDATE: PwC Lease Trips Green Light for New 320,000-SF Tower

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA-Development of a 320,000-sf office tower–the latest addition to the stable of buildings at the five million-sf mixed-use compound known as the Corporate Office Centre at Tysons II–has gotten the go-ahead now that PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP has committed to leasing 160,000 sf of the soon-to-be-constructed building. Lerner Enterprises is the developer behind the new office facility, which will sit at 1800 Tysons Blvd., and plans to complete construction activity in fall 2005.

Financial details of PwC’s long-term lease agreement have not been made public; however, Diamond Property Co. markets space for Lerner in the three other standing office buildings at Tysons II and leases that space for $40 to $41 per sf. Harvey-Cleary Builders is onboard the project as the contractor for the Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates-designed office tower.
