The land was sold by the late Dorothy Dukes Ford, who used the acreage for the Bayou Park Stables. The seller's broker, Gary A. Mabray with the Houston office of Colliers International, tells GlobeSt.com that several different buyers were interested in the land, listed for $2 per sf or slightly more than $780,000. The property is located in an industrial area of northwest Houston between Tanner and West Little York roads.
Buyer Roberts Development intends to raze a 45,913-sf building to make way for eight buildings, each about 15,000 sf, in a plan to raise two at a time. Steve Adkisson with National Realty Group Inc. in Houston says the product will come on line "for lease" or "for sale."
