The building, known as Gardenview, is a three-story facility featuring seven floorplans that range from one-bedroom units to three-bedroom, two-bath designs. It is located adjacent to the complex's lake and courtyard, Catalina Hall auditorium, and swimming pool and spa. Gardenview, which is expected to be fully occupied by spring, has experienced an especially strong level of tenant demand, according to Continuing Life Communities' CEO Rick Aschenbrenner. "This national award-winning community has been so popular with seniors that a waiting list has been established for some floorplans," he says. Already, 80 new residents have moved into the Gardenview building.
Located at 1940 Levante St. in south Carlsbad, La Costa Glen's first phase consists of two- and three-bedroom villas and an 89,000-sf healthcare center, as well as the apartment homes. The project is located on a 25-acre parcel surrounded by a park-like preserve that features dedicated natural space.
