La Costa Glen Moves Forward

CARLSBAD, CA-La Costa Glen's Phase I residential component is now complete, as the three-story Gardenview facility has been constructed. The building marks the final residential facility of the $100-million local retirement community's first phase.

CARLSBAD, CA-Continuing Life Communities LLC’s $100-million local retirement project is moving forward, as the owner has recently wrapped up construction of the final residential building in the first phase of the development.

The building, known as Gardenview, is a three-story facility featuring seven floorplans that range from one-bedroom units to three-bedroom, two-bath designs. It is located adjacent to the complex’s lake and courtyard, Catalina Hall auditorium, and swimming pool and spa. Gardenview, which is expected to be fully occupied by spring, has experienced an especially strong level of tenant demand, according to Continuing Life Communities’ CEO Rick Aschenbrenner. “This national award-winning community has been so popular with seniors that a waiting list has been established for some floorplans,” he says. Already, 80 new residents have moved into the Gardenview building.
