Richard Smith, director of Opus Land, says: "The TRW site represents a fantastic opportunity for us and will once again deliver opportunities, create new jobs and boost the local economy. Our plan is to create a prime business park to compliment the infrastructure already put in place by TRW."
The same three partners came together last year to buy the former IMI site in Birmingham, which is now being redeveloped as a 95-acre industrial park called the Hub. The two deals represent a combined commitment of over £300 million ($540 million).
Knight Frank and KWB represented Frontier Estates and Opus Land. M3 represented the Prudential and Collier CRE represented TRW Automotive.
