Publisher Takes on 33,000 SF in Commerce Park

NORFOLK, VA-Trader Publishing Co. has decided to abandon its current Norfolk digs on Plume St. to take on 33,000 sf of office space within the nearly 130,000-sf Norfolk Commerce Park II office and warehouse building. The company, which specializes in classified and photo guide advertising publications, relied on Divaris Real Estate Inc. to negotiate the lease agreement with building owner Armada Hoffler Commerce Associates. CB Richard Ellis stood in for Armada Hoffler in the transaction, and markets space at the property for about $14 per sf.

Norfolk Commerce Park II carries the address of 5301 Robin Hood Rd., and is just one of the structures that make up the greater Norfolk Commerce Park, which the city began to develop back in 1981. The park sports a convenient location about one mile from Norfolk International Airport and it is within close proximity of the downtown area, local military installations, as well as the cities of Portsmouth and Virginia Beach.
