Law Firm Lengthens Lease to 110,000 SF

WASHINGTON, DC-Already comfortable in its office space in the 155,000-sf building at 1750 K St., tenant Wiley Rein & Fielding LLP decided to renew its lease agreement and make a 5,000-sf addition to its current 103,000-sf space. The law firm sealed the deal with Advantis Real Estate Services Co., which acts as the manager and leasing agent for parent company and building owner, the St. Joe Co. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed, but Advantis markets office space in 1750 K St. at a base rent of $30 to $34 per sf. Wiley Rein also keeps a large chunk of space across the street in the 200,000-sf building at 1776 K St.

“They’ve been in the building for more than 10 years, and they’ve extended the lease with the additional space until June 2014,” Advantis’ Stephen Mutty Tells GlobeSt.com. Mutty and colleague Creighton Armstrong spearheaded the transaction on behalf of St. Joe.
