Gramercy Co-Founder Conlan Dies

RICHFIELD, MN-Since co-founding Gramercy Corp. with Roger Schnobrich alomost 10 years ago, Michael Conlan helped build the company into Minnesota's largest cooperative housing developer.

RICHFIELD, MN-Michael Conlan, co-founder and president of Gramercy Corp., largest cooperative housing developer in Minnesota, died last week at the age of 55. In 1994, Conlan joined prominent Twin Cities attorney, Roger Schnobrich, to form Gramercy Corp., a Richfield, MN-based developer of cooperative residential communities primarily for active adults. Gramercy has grown to become a recognized leader in the field and is known as a credible source for industry information, says Terry Randolph, a friend of Conlan’s.

Conlan was one of the original staff member of the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency. His interest in real estate development led to service as a project Director and VP of the Boisclair Corp., a developer of housing and urban mixed-use real estate projects. He also served as an executive of Northland Financial Corporation and, later, became a co-founder of Nichols/Conlan Financial Corp.
