The 99%-leased center, formerly anchored by Kmart, will have Bealls Department Stores Inc. as a new anchor by June. John M. Crossman, senior vice president, retail investment services division, Trammell Crow Co. in Orlando and J. Whitney Knoll, senior vice president-director of retail investments services in Atlanta negotiated for the seller. Inland represented itself.

"We see Apopka as one of the up-and-coming markets of Central Florida," Crossman tells GlobeSt.com. "When you follow the beltway around Central Florida, you follow explosive growth. Apopka is next in line."

Crossman says the property was on the market for a year. The average asking base rent range is $6.25 per sf to $19.13 per sf.
