Douglas Crocker II, former president and CEO of Chicago-based Equity Residential, and Walter M. Deriso Jr., vice chairman of Synovus, a multi-billion-dollar diversified financial services company headquarter in Columbus, GA, are expected to join the board at Post's annual shareholders meeting in Atlanta May 27.

At the same time, directors John T. Glover and Robert L. Anderson have decided not to stand for re-election. Glover has been a director since 1984, serving as vice chairman from March 2000 to February 2003. Anderson has been a director since 2000.

In Crocker, Post gets an international expert on the REIT and multifamily industries. He was Equity Residential's president and CEO from 1993 to 2002. He now chairs the National Multi Housing Council and is a National Apartment Association University regent and a member of the advisory board for the De Paul University Real Estate School. He also is a board member of Wellsford Real Properties Inc., a real estate merchant banking firm; Prime Group Realty Trust, a REIT that owns and operates office and industrial properties; Ventas Inc., a large healthcare REIT; and Acadia Realty Trust, a national shopping center REIT.

Besides his duties at Synovus, Deriso is also president and CEO of Security Bank & Trust Co., a member of the Synovus family of companies. He chairs the boards of both Synovus and Security Bank.
