ProLogis Lands Big Tenant for Park in France

LYON, FRANCE-In one of the largest build-to-suit agreements in France over the last 12 months, a leading French retailer for electrical supplies signs on for 467,110-sf of distribution space here, at ProLogis Industrial Park Isle d'Abeau.

LYON, FRANCE-Darty, the leading French retailer for electrical supplies and a member of the publicly traded Kesa Group, has signed a build-to-suit agreement with ProLogis for a 467,110-sf distribution facility here, at ProLogis Industrial Park Isle d’Abeau.

Construction on the Darty facility will begin this spring with expected completion in late fall of this year. ProLogis is touting the transaction as one of the largest build-to-suit agreement in France over the last 18 months. Ranald Hahn, managing director for ProLogis in Southern Europe, says this is the company’s first development agreement with Darty.
