Conroe ISD Pays $438,886 for Woodlands Land

THE WOODLANDS, TX-Work begins in the coming days on a 106,000-sf school, set to open in August 2005 on a 14-acre tract along Terramont Drive. With 17 schools in the Woodlands, the district is targeting the Village of Sterling Ridge for the new facility.

THE WOODLANDS, TX-Conroe Independent School District has paid $438,886 for 14 acres along Terramont Drive in the Woodlands. With the land in hand, ground will break in the coming days on a 106,000-sf elementary school.

The school for up to 1,000 students in the Village of Sterling Ridge will deliver in August 2005, just in time for the next school term. The acreage is located three-fourths of a mile north of Woodlands Parkway.
