The seller of the 72-unit apartment complex was Washington Park Apartments LLC, based in Miami Beach, FL. The two-story, walk-up complex—located at 6111 Washington St.--has a pool and features concrete-brick-stucco construction. The apartments were built in 1970. The new owners did not indicate that they had any changes planned for the property and will continue to operate the property as rental units, a spokeswoman says.

Anthony Garcia, an associate with Miami Lakes, FL-based Horizon Properties of Miami Inc., represented Mufasa LLC in the transaction. Bob Pino and Barbara Welch of Coldwell Banker represented Washington Park Apartments LLC. Mufasa LLC maintains its headquarters in Miami.
