The Santa Ana, CA-based company narrowed the choice down to three buildings in the Katy Freeway submarket, Kay Street, branch manager of Kirkwood Atrium II, said in a press release. She said Kirkwood Atrium II won the nod because the office was in ready-to-go condition and required just minimal change. The new address is a class B, 11-story, 235,961-sf building with a quoted rent of $14.50 per sf.

Gloria Parrino of Betz Commercial Brokerage in Houston represented First American Title, which put attorneys Rick Melamed and Erwin Wilbanks in charge of the office. Kim Grizzle and Wade Bowlin, with the Houston-based PM Realty Group, handled talks for the building owner, KBS Realty Advisors of Newport Beach, CA.
