The next big residential building to hit the market in the city was completed in the first quarter of 2003 and residents began moving in last spring. Douglas Harmon, managing director of Eastdil Realty, is handling the assignment. He could not be reached for comment.
The 13-story building at 400 W. 37 St. has 259 units and is an 80/20 property with a mix of free-market and moderate-income apartments. Monthly rents range from approximately $1,500 for studio apartments to $3,500 for two-bedroom apartments. It is currently 100% leased.
Located between 9th and 10th avenues on Manhattan's west side, the property's amenities include a 24-hour attended lobby, rooftop terrace, fitness center and on-site laundry facilities. It also features oversized windows and ceramic tile bathrooms.
