CSM Lodging Buys 126-Room Residence Inn

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN-The Minneapolis-based firm says it will renovate the hotel, and anticipates buying several more hotels this year in the Twin Cities area and in other markets.

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN-CSM Lodging said it recently bought the Residence Inn at 7780 Flying Cloud Drive, making it the 27th Marriott hotel owned and operated by Minneapolis based CSM Lodging. The 126-room Residence Inn is situated on the northeast side of Interstate 494 and Highway 212.

The residential-style hotel is designed primarily for extended-stay business travelers. The property features studio suites and penthouse suites. Each suite has a fully equipped kitchen with refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker along with a separate living room area and a fireplace in select rooms.
