Holcim Ltd, the firm's Zurich-based parent company, selected this location to replace Dundee, MI as its US headquarters. The 14,000-sf office space was redesigned in 12 weeks.
The corporate center, a 300,000-sf, six-story, office building owned by Boston Properties, is located at the intersection of Routes 128 and 20. It features large open floor plates, a cafeteria, a recently expanded fitness facility and a shared conference center for use by tenants. Current tenants in the building include Microsoft, Netegrity, Oasis Semiconductor and Principal Financial.
Lease rates for this deal were not available, but the average asking rent for class A office space in the area is about $26 per sf, according to the most recent statistics by Grubb & Ellis.
