Three Move Up at HG Fenton

SAN DIEGO-Three top employees at HG Fenton Co. have moved up the ranks here, as Geoff Swortwood and Shelly Weld have been promoted to directors, while Kevin Hill has stepped into vice president’s role.

Swortwood is now the director of commercial development, while Weld is director of commercial property management and Hill is vice president of leasing. All three positions have been newly created, a company spokesperson tells GlobeSt.com.

With more than a decade under his belt at the locally based firm, Swortwood has been a “key part of HG Fenton Co.’s commercial management, development and acquisitions team for the past 12 years,” according to a company statement. In his new role, he will now direct both the acquisition and development of commercial product for the firm. He will be especially focused on expanding HG Fenton’s build-to-suit and speculative development program, which includes Fenton Technology Park and Mission Valley Heights.
