The 15-story state-of-the-art tower will sit atop a knoll in the Courthouse section of the Rosslyn-Ballston Corridor, providing the property with sterling views of the Potomac and the popular Georgetown area of Washington DC. Carrying the address of 2001 N. 15th St., the high-end residences will account for about 266,000 sf of the building, which will also feature 6,500 sf of ground-level retail space, and an underground parking facility capable of accommodating 350 vehicles. McWilliams Ballard is handling marketing activity for the property.

"Because of the strength of the market, the specific location of the site in that market, and because of our experience with the developer, we were willing to make our loan without any pre-sale requirements and without recourse to the borrower," Corus Bank's Dwight Frankfather tells GlobeSt.com. Also, Corus was able to close the deal within the short timeframe designated by the borrower.
