Auburn Hills Launches $4M City Hall Expansion

AUBURN HILLS, MI-City leaders and staff will soon have more elbowroom at the city hall here with the expansion and renovation project.

AUBURN HILLS, MI-The city is more than doubling the size of its city hall in a $3.5 million expansion and renovation project. The city hall, on Squirrel Road, will get a new entrance and be made handicap-accessible as part of the project, which will add 14,861 sf to the existing 11,639 sf structure. Part of the original structure was once a stable.

Construction on the building, which houses 27 municipal employees, is expected to be finished by this summer. The building houses a wide range of city offices, including the police department.
