Additionally, the government will transfer control of another 298 housing units and approximately 76 acres of developable land located at Eagle Meadows, about 3.5 miles from the Dover Base. As part of the agreement, the developer will contribute the cash value of the Eagle Meadows housing units and land, to help fund the development of privatized housing on the base at the Eagle Heights site.

A source tells GlobeSt.com the RFP for the project is scheduled to be issued in March. In advance of that RFP, a free full-day seminar has been scheduled to help interested developers in learn more about the details of the project. The event is scheduled for February 25-26, 2004 at the Dover Downs Hotel and Conference Center in Dover, Delaware.

A social event will be held on the evening before the Forum, also at the Dover Downs Hotel.
