Value City is a subsidiary of American Signature Inc. and has more than 80 stores in operation. The Detroit area's largest furniture retailer, Warren-based Art Van, has opened one store so far this year, an approximate 74,000 sf location in Chesterfield Township. Art Van has another store planned for later this year in the Rochester area.
