In Howell Township, Grubb & Ellis brokered the lease of 34,050 sf of industrial space to Intier Automotive, a subsidiary of Magna International. The Howell Township property, owned by Pardun Building Company, was chosen for its proximity to the tenant's existing facility and to the I-96 and M-59 expressways. Intier Automotive specializes in the development, manufacture and just-in-time delivery of complete vehicle interior systems. Grubb & Ellis team members Jon Savoy, SVP and director of industrial services; Geoff Hill, SVP, industrial group; and Brandon Podolski, of the industrial group, represented all parties in the transaction.
In Brighton, Grubb & Ellis closed the sale of 33,480 sf of industrial space to Brighton Laboratories. The Brighton property, sold by Stramco, was chosen for its proximity to local freeways, its main road frontage and additional acreage it provides for future expansion or development behind the building. Savoy and Podolski represented the seller in the transaction.
In Fowlerville 15 acres of land was sold to HS Development, L.L.C of Novi. The property was sold by Glen Daly of East Lansing. The site is located in Fowlerville, which continues to attract home and commercial developers. It's a growing population in the direct path of progress, says Kevin Brady, commercial land specialist, land group, who represented both parties in the transaction.
