The law firm caters to technology and growth companies. It's existing office is located in about 16,000 sf at Carillon Point in Kirkland, WA. The move will occur in May. The term and rate on the new lease was not readily available. Asking rates for space in the building range from $27- to $37 per sf per year, fully serviced. According to officespace.com, there is about 456,000 sf available in the 1.5 million-sf Bank of America Tower.

Patrick Schultheis, a partner in the firm, says the new location places the firm "squarely in the heart of Seattle's business, financial and legal community" and said "solves the need for increased space for our expanding Northwest practice."

Eric Berson from Washington Realty in Palo Alto, Calif. represented the law firm in the deal. Equity Office was represented in-house by John Hansen.
