Demolition should take two weeks, according to John Chappelear, a senior vice president with the Related Group of Florida. Next, excavation and utility work will begin followed by vertical construction.
Plans call for the Venture residences to be located in two mid-rise buildings joined by courtyards. The project will also include 18,000 sf of ground-floor retail space. The Venture will be the first phase of an approved conceptual site plan for a redeveloped town center. Among the amenities will be three pools, a fitness center, spa, business center, cyber lounges, club room, and valet and concierge services. Arquitectonica is the architect.
