A town representative tells GlobeSt.com that Middleborough currently has a little more than 4% of its housing affordable. But the town representative notes that--in contrast to many cases where a town resents a developer using the 40B law to get his project approved--Middleborough welcomes an affordable project on the site. She says that the hospital building is in a residential area and will not require rezoning.
