The Marcourt and Nash Sales Company buildings and the Crescent Apartments are joining 107 other properties on the register. Properties on the register are eligible for the city's Special Tax Valuation Program, which freezes the property's valuation in exchange for renovation and refurbishment of the property.

The Marcourt Building, formerly the Bridge Clinic, is located at 744 Market St. It was built in 1931 by Dr. Albert Bridge, an early innovator in the field of managed care who provided the funds to establish the Mary Bridge Children's Hospital. Catapult Community Developers plans to purchase the Marcourt and rehabilitate the historic structure into market-rate housing.

The Nash Sales Company Building, built in 1921, is located at 933 Market St. An example of early 20th century commercial vernacular architecture, it was one of the early automobile showrooms in the city and was later remodeled to house grocery and retail stores. The building is now owned by Christopher Wallace (Joshua Tree) of Spanaway. He plans to restore the building to its original condition and might turn it into a restaurant.

The Crescent Apartments, constructed in 1889-90 by real estate developer George Sumner, is being rehabilitated after years of neglect. The building was designed by prominent architect Frederick Sexton. Located at 322-324 N. G St., the apartments are in the Stadium Seminary National Historic District. The owner is Bristol Equities of Portland, OR.

As part of the listing on the register, any work that involves changes to the exterior of the building must be approved by the city's Landmarks Commission.
