G St. LLC, which is held by Dutch real estate management firm Wereldhave, is the owner of the Portrait Building, an eight-story tower at 701 Eighth St. that will feature 135,000 sf. Already, law firm Thelen Reid & Priest has committed to 75,000 sf of the building, which will also sport ground-level retail space and a four-level underground parking facility upon its scheduled completion early next year.

The Greene Building falls under the ownership of the Calvary Baptist Church, which has secured the necessary approval to tear down most of the 1920s-era building and erect a new 32,300-sf building behind the historic property's original facade. Located at 755 Eighth St., the four-story structure will encompass an auditorium, in addition to its office space. Work on this building is expected to wrap up late this year.
