Farrel Smith of Maverick Technologies says the decision to exit a 7,205-sf office at 2625 Bay Area Blvd. delivers cost-effectiveness and builds in expansion flexibility for a fast-growing regional office that doubled sales last year for a 130-employee company that logged $15 million in sales corporate-wide.
The new lease takes occupancy to 83% in the 64,000-sf Armand Plaza at 16441 Space Center Blvd. The office building, with a $14 per sf quoted rate, abuts the University of Houston-Clear Lake campus.
Chad Beck in Jackson & Cooksey's Houston office represented Maverick Technologies in the negotiations. Michael Adams of PM Realty Group of Houston brokered terms for the building owner, KBS Realty Advisors of Newport Beach, CA.
