Storage Co. Builds its own Warehouse

FALLS CHURCH, VA-Store to Door–a storage company that provides, transports and stores self-storage containers–has decided to expand its presence in Northern Virginia by building its own 65,000-sf warehouse. The Woburn, MA-headquartered company has brought in Trinity Group Construction Inc. to build the state-of-the-art facility, which, a Trinity spokesperson tells GlobeSt.com, will be located in the Barr-Dulles Business Park.

Situated off I-495 in the Beltway submarket of Fairfax County, the new Store to Door locale provides easy access to Washington, DC and suburban Washington Metro areas in Northern Virginia. The facility, which will cost $2.5 million to develop, marks the second Store to Door locale in the state; the other is a 60,000-sf facility in Ashburn, which opened in 1998. The company has four other locations, excluding its Massachusetts headquarters, in Illinois, Maryland and New York. Trinity is expected to wrap up development of the Falls Church building this August.
