"With global pressures on businesses to reduce costs, the Logistics Services Group will particularly be helpful to those firms who have experienced change such as mergers, acquisitions, new product introduction or the outsourcing of manufacturing or other processes overseas," says Trammell Crow principal Tony Kepano.

The partnership will focus on "finding ways for companies to lower inventory, transportation and real estate costs as they relate to their supply chain networks--costs that typically comprise major items on their balance sheets," Kepano says.

Senior associate Tyler Fann, also in the local office, is working with Kepano in the new practice group. Stacie Kilgore, Chainalytics vice president, is coordinating the venture for her firm.

"This is a great offering for organizations that currently don't examine supply chain impacts when making real estate decisions, or vice versa," says Chainalytics president Mike Kilgore. "Supply chain managers often don't fully understand the real estate options when making manufacturing and logistics network decisions." He adds, "the integration of Trammell Crow's and Chainalytics' services will assist in bridging that gap.
