Health Research Firm Finds New Home

WILMINGTON, DE-As part of its expansion plan, clinical research concern Health Core Inc. has just revealed its intention to relocate its headquarters from the Newark region to a 130,000-sf building here. The firm will leave the Christiana Medical Arts Pavilion and take up residence in a 32,000-sf space at the Corporate Plaza, a class A high-rise building at 800 Delaware Ave. in the city’s central business district.

Health Core committed to the space under a long-term lease agreement with property owner and manger Delle Donne & Associates, but financial terms of the deal have not been disclosed. According to the NAI 2004 Global Market Report, class A office space in the Downtown area leases for an average of $23 per sf. The move will begin next month, taking place in two phases in which employees will occupy 16,000 sf of space at a time.
