The new building is located in the same office park as the company's corporate headquarters and Group Operations and Technical Center. The new technical center will allow the Chassis Group to expand its design and development capabilities by adding new testing equipment and increasing floor space. The 13,000-sf test lab will serve as the design and development center for products such as chassis suspension components, wheel-end assemblies, ball joints and control arms.

"With the added floor space and new testing equipment this facility brings to Metaldyne we can add more value to our customers' chassis and suspension programs," says Joe Nowak, Chassis Group president. "We are now able to offer more design and development capabilities."
