One Columbus Still Popular with Longtime Tenant

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA-Fully-operational office space and corporate services provider Virginia Beach Executive Suites, also known as Columbus Executive Suites, has decided to stay put in its 12,000-sf space at One Columbus Center, the 135,000-sf office tower in the city’s central business district. Terms of the company’s renewal have not been released; however, Divaris Real Estate Services markets the space on behalf of owners Battlefield Associates One LLC and Columbus One at $20 per sf. Divaris represented both the ownership and the tenant in the transaction.

Located on Virginia Beach Blvd. in the heart of the new $350 million mixed-use Town Center development that is currently underway, One Columbus Center became the city’s first class A office high-rise back when it was developed in 1982. Executive Suites, which first opened its doors in 1985, occupies the entire sixth floor of the 11-story structure. Other tenants in the building include TransCommunity Bankshares, a bank holding company that just signed on for 4,200 sf of space earlier this month.
