David Croskery, now managing director, replaced William Wheaton, a six-year HFF employee who is continuing with the department, but transitioning to a new role. Nancy O. Goodson, HFF's COO, said in a press release that Wheaton "had been a part of the tremendous growth in HFF's servicing portfolio."

Croskery previously was asset manager for Shell Real Estate Services. He also worked as real estate director for American General Investment Management, where his duties included oversight for loan servicing and the REO portfolio.

"David came to us highly recommended," Goodson said. "His experience in loan servicing and asset management will ensure HFF's loan servicing capabilities remain at the highest level of service."

HFF recently subcontracted with Bank of America to handle payment processing, tax and insurance escrow service, UCC filings and investor reporting. HFF will continue to handle portfolio management responsibilities such as borrower requests, operating statement reviews, inspections and borrower/lender contact functions.
