The project is being developed on 2.3 acres on the Miami River at 615 S.W. 2nd Ave. in an established residential neighborhood just off Brickell Avenue in Brickell Village. Plans call for the commercial building to contain 217,000 sf of office and retail space combined. The project—which will be on the land that is the former site of the Miami Vice television show and the Sylvester Stallone movie The Specialist--enables residents to live and work within the same development.

Suffolk Construction Co. is the general contractor for the project, which is scheduled to break ground in the fourth quarter and be completed in late 2006. Steven Gelb is chairman of both EA Fish Associates and Suffolk Construction. Internationally known Arquitectonica is the modern-style buildings' designer.

The amenities will include a pool, a fitness center, a sauna, a business center, a home theater, a billiards room--and on the 11th and 12th floors--a yoga room and Tai Chi meditation garden with 360-degree views. The residences will consist of river flats, tower units and penthouses in studios, one-, two- and three-bedroom units. The units are price between $170,000 and the $600,000s.
