Strip Center Under Construction in Roseville

ROSEVILLE, MI-A new 14,000-sf strip center is being built in the city, across the street from the Macomb Mall.

ROSEVILLE, MI-A new 14,000-sf strip mall will soon be added to the growing retail district of the city, after the demolition of a long-standing neighborhood bar. Frantone’s Bar, which also had been known as Zombo’s, was demolished along with a Thrifty Florist and a private residence at the southwest corner of Gratiot and Masonic in order to make way for the new development, which will eventually feature about 10 new stores.

Frantone’s had been on that corner, across from Macomb Mall, for about 30 years. The new building will be constructed by MJM Group LLC, based in Oakland County’s Orchard Lake, says Steve Truman director of Roseville’s building department. The new stores in the center are expected to include a Starbuck’s Coffee with a drive-thru window, the Vitamin Shoppe, Quizno’s Subs and EB Games.
