MIPA managing director is Nigel Young. He has 30 years of experience in the retail real estate industry. He started his career in 1972 with Healy & Baker in London and moved to Pairs in 1974 to launch their retail department in France. In between that job and joining Morgan Grenfeld Laurie in England to lease shopping centers, Young spent time with McDonald's Corp., helping them acquire 27 locations throughout Europe, and then Ocean Pacific Sunwear. Young moved to Prague to join Muller International in 1993.

"MIPA joined NAI because we wanted to reach the global market and benefit from other NAI Members' contact with potential clients, companies looking to expand or set up in the Czech Republic," says Young. "While (we focus) on our local markets, we feel the necessity to broaden instead of isolating ourselves in today's global economy."

MIPA's client list includes the French food retailer Carrefour, which it recently assisted in marketing two retail centers in Prague. Other clients include OBI, Kadran, Delcis (Nexity), Segece (Klepierre), Campernon Bernard (Vinci Group), Interspar, GRC, TK Development, and ECE.
