Ruffin Road Biz Park Nets $5M

SAN DIEGO-The Shidler Group purchases the two-building office complex from RRBP LP. Encompassing 48,342 sf, the asset is occupied by tenants including United Tote Co. and AOA Geomarine Operations.

SAN DIEGO-The Shidler Group has added another local office asset to its commercial real estate portfolio, having recently snapped up the two-building Ruffin Road Business Park complex here from RRBP LP for $5.3 million. The real estate firm has acquired the property by assuming an existing loan on it.

Encompassing a total of 48,342 sf, the office complex is currently occupied by tenants including United Tote Co. and AOA Geomarine Operations. Dating back to 1981, the asset stands at 3949-3959 Ruffin Rd. Its close proximity to the I-15 transportation corridor and Montgomery Airport attracted the Shidler Group to the asset, with partner Matt Root calling it “an ideal office location.” Root points out that the growth of San Diego County has contributed to the value of the Kearny Mesa submarket, which he says is now “prized for its central location” within the region.
