65,559-SF Manufacturing Site Sells

STAFFORD, TX-An Illinois computer components maker sells the 2.8-acre property after five failed attempts in the past year. The Houston buyers, picking up an extra 1.4 acres, are retrofitting the structure for distribution of spices and food products.

STAFFORD, TX-Progressive Manufacturing Corp., a computer components manufacturer, has sold a 65,559-sf industrial building with extra developable land at 4030 Bluebonnet St. in a suburb southwest of Houston.

Charles Herder in the Houston office of Colliers International USA tells GlobeSt.com that the seller exited the building a year ago in a retreat to its home base at Lake Zurich, IL near Chicago. Progressive Manufacturing, which had Compaq as a client, had the Stafford asset on the market for $2 million. The Fort Bend County Appraisal District assesses the structure and acreage at $1.8 million.
