Built in 1973 and renovated in 1999, Fruitland Plaza has a Food Lion grocery store and Diamond Furniture store for anchors. The property is 70% occupied, and other tenants include fitness center Curves, Dollar General and Power Kicks Karate. For JBGR, the new assignment marks the leasing, management and development company's first foray into the Eastern Shore market. "We are confident our longstanding relationships with retailers and brokers in other markets will serve us well as we embark on a leasing campaign for the center," JBGR Principal Grant Ehat notes.
