Houston Mayor Sets Up Real Estate Strategies Task Force

HOUSTON-Mayor Bill White taps Ed Wulfe of Wulfe & Co. to lead the all-volunteer task force. The group's size and membership are now being determined, but the mission is clear...evaluate what is owned and leased and make recommendations.

HOUSTON-Houston Mayor Bill White has created a real estate strategies task force to evaluate the portfolio, picking the president and founder of Wulfe & Co. as the team’s leader.

Ed Wulfe tells GlobeSt.com that they are just now deciding how many and who will be on the all-volunteer task force. He is estimating the group will end up with 10 to 15 members.

White, who recently announced the task force’s formation, said in a press release that “we want to maximize the city’s assets and ensure Houston is using its real estate in the best, most cost-effective way. This administration will take a businesslike approach to getting the most value of taxpayers. This task force will help us do that.”
