Miller Developments and Bridgehouse Capital Join Forces in Birmingham

LONDON-Miller Developments and Bridgehouse Capital have formed a new joint venture aimed at bringing forward the Arena Central mixed use project in Birmingham, one of the UK's largest city centre developments.

LONDON-One of the biggest city centre developments in the UK has moved a step closer with the decision by Miller Developments and Bridgehouse Capital to merge their land interests at the 7.6-acre Arena Central site in Birmingham. They have set up a new 50:50 joint venture to take the 2.3 million sf development forward.

The site to the west of Birmingham City Hall immediately opposite the International Convention Centre includes the fully let 200,000 sf Alpha Tower, the 284-bedroom Crowne Plaza Hotel, a 830 space car park let and development land with planning consent for up to 2.3 million of office, residential, leisure and retail space. There will also be parking for up to 2,500 cars.
