Mipim DISPATCH: King Sturge Pushes Into Mexico Real Estate Market

CANNES, FR-As more than 15,000 real estate executives from around the globe descend on this resort town, executives from King Sturge reveal to GlobeSt.com that the firm has just inked a deal for an alliance in Mexico.

CANNES, FR-Growth is in the air here. Mipim, now celebrating its 15th anniversary, is topping its previous records both in terms of attendance–more than 15,000 visitors–and exhibitors, with 1,879 participating companies logged in.

But not all of the growth is owed by the sponsoring organization, and in an exclusive interview on the show floor, King Sturge officials revealed that the firm has recently inked a partnership alliance with Mexican real estate company BDI. The new alliance will work through King Sturge’s North American partner, Corfac.

According to Max O. Crofts, a partner in the UK-based King Sturge, the new deal delivers four offices to the Corfac network: Mexico City, Aguascalientes, Guadalajara and Monterey. Fernando Alvarez will head the Mexican operation.
