"As we move into 2004, we believe we have the right team in place to continue acquiring properties that best meet the needs of our investors and their investment goals," says Wells chief investment officer David Steinwedell. "In addition to quality tenants in quality properties, we look for the most qualified individuals to run our regional acquisitions team."

The Western Region team includes Joseph Pangburn, senior vice president; Robert Huff, and Joel Williamson, vice presidents; and Kevin Pell, analyst. They will oversee acquisitions in Los Angeles and Orange County, CA; San Francisco and San Jose; and Seattle.

The Northern Region includes Chicago, Minneapolis and Denver. Working in that area are Clay Adams, senior vice president; Spencer Patton, vice president; and Shak Presswala, analyst.

In the South, the team includes Thomas Hallowell, senior vice president; Chris Kollmee, vice president; and H.L. Jackson, senior analyst. The area includes Atlanta, Dallas and Fort Worth, Houston and Miami.

The Eastern Region includes Jeff Gilder, senior vice president; Keith Willby and Jerry Banks, vice presidents; and Heather Griner and Ann Shell-Johnson, senior analysts.

"The expansion of the regional acquisitions team strengthens Wells' ability to maintain its position as a premier real estate investment company," says Ray Owens, managing director of the regional acquisitions team.

Besides the acquisitions team, Wells still has its specialty acquisitions team led by senior vice president Joe Oglesby. The team handles sourcing and closing build-to suit, tenant-in-common, limited partnership and government-occupied transactions. Besides Oglesby, the team members are Michael Berndt, senior vice president; Peter Mitchell, vice president; and Andrew Swadel, analyst.
