The ceremony will be hosted by Andy Aldrich, the hotel's new general manager.
The hotel has been a Radisson since it was built, and was one of that Minnesota chain's marquee properties for many years.
LaSalle Hotel Properties, the owner, recently decided to hire Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide to rebrand the hotel as an upscale Sheraton.The transition task force, orchestrated by Brian Proctor and Jackie Gitter, is replacing items in rooms and suites, an average of 64 room changes per day.
The renovation includes replacing most items in all 565 of the rooms--everything from new beds to new towels, pillows, sheets, pens, irons, ironing boards and duvet covers.
