2100 M St. Gets New Property/Construction Manager

WASHINGTON, DC-Now that 2100 M St. has gotten a new owner–Prudential Real Estate Investors/TMW announced its acquisition of the nearly 300,000-sf office property for $95 million last month–it is also getting a new management and construction management team. The Washington, DC-office of Houston’s PM Realty Group has been tapped for the role. “PM Realty Group was selected for this assignment based on the proven positive financial impact of our systems,” notes PM Realty vice president of operations Tanya Seyfert.

In addition to its property management duties, the real estate services firm will also oversee construction activity at the building, which recently underwent a $1.5 million renovation project. Siutated on the border of the central business district and the West End area, 2100 M St. is an eight-story tower that was built in 1969, and features class A office space. The Urban Institute occupies nearly half the building, which is 96% occupied.
