PS Business Parks of Glendale, CA, purchased the park, located at Northwest 14th Street and 82nd Avenue, adjacent to Miami International Airport, in late December for $205 million. Kennedy-Wilson previously handled the leasing.
Cushman & Wakefield senior directors Walter Byrd and Ben Eisenberg and Cushman & Wakefield associate Thomas Kresse, in conjunction with PS Business Parks, are developing and executing the leasing campaign.
The park contains industrial and retail space in 53 buildings. The business park is home to a variety of distribution, warehouse and service properties. Tenants include freight forwarders/logistics companies, flower importers, other companies involved in international trade, and local and regional tenants that do business in the Airport West submarket.
"Given its strategic location, MICC is ideally positioned to take advantage of a rebound in US and Latin American trade," Maria Hawthorne, divisional vice president for PS Business Parks, says in a statement. She adds the company chose Cushman & Wakefield based in part on its knowledge of the asset and the Airport West submarket.
